hi my signal is low on my eurovox ex7000 making picture very poor a mate has give me a konig booster but don't have clue how to use it . there are 2 screews that adjust the strength but my signal gets no better can any body give me any pointers .

Is the booster you are using one of those yellow brick like things ? and how do you have it connected ? usually you have to connect the incoming cable into the booster before any splitters etc ...try doing this,connect cable to booster then connect your box to the booster via whatever cable you have then see if its picking anything up at all .... -
hi yes it is one of those yellow brick ones i have the cable in and a wire on the cable out and then into the back of the box but makes know difference to signal at all .need to know what to do with the two screews one says s c and the other g c but don't have a clue which one to adjust if i adjust both all the way the t v just frezzes and still makes no difference.Comment

Well the sc is slope control and the gc is gain control and gain control is the one to be using to increase signal strength ...if nothing is happening then the booster might be faulty of course or the signal coming into your house might not be what it should ....have you ever had this working ok ? or has it just suddenly happened? do you have a cable subscription at all so you can check the picture from their set top box ? ........ a lot hinges on whether you have a subscription or not really,because if not we have no way of knowing whether the cable feed is ok or not ....Last edited by telecom69; 22 January, 2010, 02:27.Comment
