ex7000hd help, box keeps lagging

hi, i was just wondering whether anyone is having the same problem with this box.


box keeps freezing!!!!!!!!!!!!

basically when ever i switch on the box from standby the box works 100% for about 5 min and then if i try to change the channel or select any button it takes a good 1/2 min to operate. what i have to do is not put the box in standby so the box has to remain on 24/7 and hope it works

its driving me crazy, i wish i kept my old 5000pvr as that never had any problems, all for 5 poxy HD channels which are not really worth it other than espn and channel 4 HD. bbc never really on other than 4 hours a day and the the other 2 HD channels are not really worth watching.

also theres another problem with the box, the epg tends to quite often give "no info" so i have to switch the box of from the switch on the back of the box

is there any known cures for this. any info much appreciated

You dont say which firmware you are using, I had problems with latest beta firmware found march 2009 firmware worked fine for me. Agree tho that upgrading to ex7000 is not worth the outlay for very limited HD content with no more to come until n3 is in place.

which one would you recommend?

Hi m8 it could be a bad flash try reflashing , you will have to put a earlier firmware on first ie 8/1/09 . ps what area are you in that fix was for the pure area if you are in a tw area then use the sept one , i am using the 12/3/09 without any problems.
