Received a VM TV smart card (not requested), does anyone know what will happen if it is installed(Hertfordshire)?

Will it effect the eurovox?

What part of the country are you in?
It could be the beginning of N3 in your area if its the new n3 card.
Installing it now will not effect your Eurovox, this will happen when the new signal is introduced.

You don't have to request them,every subscribed member of Virgin will be getting one sooner or later and nothing apart from a bit of resetting happens when you instal it,and you do have to instal it whether you like it or not,because if you don't your box will cease to work correctly ( Virgin box I mean) ....so have no fears it does not affect the eurovox or whatever at all,at least not at the moment, but in the near future any signal coming down the line will have to get past that card,if it doesn't see a card it won't be viewable......so the non subscribers will be in trouble,they wont have a card,and consequentally no usable signal,which is Virgins intentions ....

If you do subscribe to the basic package i assume you will get the basic package on your eurovox or will it cease to work when nag 3 is introduced

no box will work when nag3 comes only vm boxes
