Sounds like your box needs a hard reset. Does the box respond when using flashing software?

exactly how you planning to do a hard reset ??

Please explain on how to do a hard reset on a Eurovox?? IF there is such a way...

I have owned a MAX V , Ex1000Sl ex7000HD & 6000SD.... until now I have not heard no such thing as a Hard reset mate,, Only time I have heard of a hard reset is when am dealing with Smart phones (Mobile Phones) such as PDA's

shafny: you most likely will need to Jtag the box... However you claim that you flashed with the correct firmware... And now the box has responding... if am right there were clone MAX V in the market unless am mistaken... so My guess would be that you have flashed the with a Genuine firmware.

Secondly I would try another computer and see if its being detected on there. Otherwise open the box up and see if there is a there is micro reset button on the motherboard.. if there is then try this: press this when the box is on then re flash with right firmware.

                or you could try this:

with box turned off hit download on comp turn the box on at mains, try this a few times. It might work , however I cant guarantee this at all. Its all up to you to try and I take no responsibility

However am definetly sure that you have used a genuine firmware on a clone box matey. Which is why you have the dreaded dots appearing on the front of the LCD mate.
