When my max v does it I just click up one channel then back down and its back in sync.

yeh i get this problem every so often and as bigalz said click channels then click back and its always sorted, i think it just a small glitch in these boxes, re-flashing wont sort it m8, ive had it for years

Should i just buy a new box?

thanks everyone tried all of the above the only thing that works is switching it off the power, might invest in a new box still think its something im doing wrong as my mate said he never had that problem when he had it, think im going to like this site as its rare to find decent people

if u got any splitters in the cable try removing them, they can sometimes interfere with signals, i would think twice about buying a new box nagravision 3 ( new vm encryption ) is on its way all boxes will be useless in a few months

              not the brightest spark

worked out what the problem was with the audio, had nothing to do with my box, turned out it was the optical digital cable causing the audio delay dust in one of the outlet ports from the amp to the tv, went back to the basic audio cable an it works perfect thanks for everyones adivce, dont like the sound of this nagravision 3 but everything can be cracked given time, binary code will always remain binary
