lost channels on Eurovox Teesside

Sorry for jumping in on this but I am in Stockton On Tees setting up a new box and most of my channels have $ sign in front of them and therefore scrambles. I have reformatted my usb to fat32 I have tried 2 different firmware and I am doing a deep scan on 6887. If anyone has any ideas where I am going wrong it would be greatly appreciated!

hello been to factory reset and then done the powerscan but still no luck where is it that you put the frequency figures in on euro vox max

New to the site also i have Eurovox too and i lost channel 5 and some other digital ones ,they were off for about 2 days then just came back on,very strange as i lost other channels a few weeks ago and had to get someone in to do all the resetting etc as i didnt have a clue

Hi and welcome to DK

you will not need to re-load the firmware
the factory default reset will erase all the channels good and bad then the powerscan should get all working channels back but they will be all mixed up and need to be sorted

I too live in Teesside (Linthorpe) and am also missing Sky Sports but i am also missing bbc 1/2/3/4 e4 film 4 sky premier and several others. So to get this straight, if i either do a manual scan on those channles, or a factory reset, this should get them back? Am i right in assuming if i do a factory reset, i will need to re-upload the firmware?

Thanks Smoggy....manually searching the freqeuncy found the channels (the frequency had changed since yesterday) and I just swapped the old ones out with thenew ones in Favourites. I hope this is the last....looks like VM could be doing this just to anoy people! Where do you find the frequencies? If you're the one having to do a full reset and scan again to find them then thanks for doing that and saving others the bother. You're a star.

As others have said do a factory reset then do a scan see if they come back.
