Hi all not atotal newbie, I have done loads of boxes for friends and family over years but this one got me stumped.re-flashed mates max blue last night, it was running all night then this morning he had no display and a code on display of 3169.I have re-flashed it again and out channel dump on but just have 0001 nothing moves other than standby button.Any help would be great but if not thanks for looking anyway.Cheers Gaz from teeside.

it is possible that the box is a clone and you have flashed with the wrong firmware
first off try flashing with the clonesafe firmware, this is ok for genuine boxes and clone boxes

Thanks for the reply m8 but already tried that.Its the same box as mine and i done them both with same software, His was working all night then next morning nothing.Can use remote for standby on/off but nothing else.Comment

sometimes if flashed with the wrong firmware you lose the scart output and box needs resetting (so remote appears to be not working)
try this method to check
disconnect your scart
connect some coax cable from the TV / VCR socket of the eurovox to the TV
tune your telly to the VCR channel where you will get the 'enter pin' screen
using your remote enter the master pin which is 1004.
go to menu and clear data, then do a factory reset.
plug your scart back in and do a powerscan as normalComment
