Help With Installing Firmware

Hi im trying to in stall firmware for ex5100 but it keeps saying waiting for the response of the receiver when i download, do u have to do anything with the box? it is plugged in and connected

make sure ur puttin the rite firmware on the rite box.

yeah i got the firmware for ex5100 off this site, do u need to make sure u havent done fpower scan for the channels before u download firmware? also my com port on computer is port 5, 6 and 7 but the firmware only gives me options 1, 2, 3 , and 4

can u change ur com ports to 1234 & it should not make a diff that u did a powerscan before puttin on the firmware

Connect the box up to your pc/laptop start download then turn off eurovox at the mains power back up then cancel download and start again and all should go ok
