eurovox ex5000 pvr thanks for heading me in the right direction, my problem is that the video recording part of the box doesnt work, a message saying hard drive is full or not installed. The only way it recorded once was when my daughter accidentally sat on the remote ha ha! but adding to the problem is the remote buttons no longer have logos or letters printed on them, they wore off in only 3 months,and i havent got the instruction booklet that came with the box!

ok mate there has been a few recording issues with these boxes. they work best if you make a quick 5 minute recording and always leave it stored on the hard disc. be aware though that when you put the first recording onto an empty drive it can take a few minutes to actually start recording.

as far as the remote goes here is the button configuration

bottom row left to right/ jump step stop record

second row from bottom/ rewind pause play forward

I find when I go to PVR to see films recorded there is nothing there so I turn box off then back on and all comes back. It stays ok as long as I dont switch it to standby,or it will need rebooting again. Wierd??
