Eurovox Max V - No Signal / Channel Currently Unavailable

    Eurovox Max V - No Signal / Channel Currently Unavailable

    Just switched my box on and got a message saying No Signal, done a deep scan which deleted some the channels and tried finding the same ones again but one the deep scan was done, theres no channels and the screen says channel currently unavailable.

    Anyone been through the same problem on the Max V?

    Any help appreciated.

    i have that right now but as im new to all this i dont have the first clue what to do next

      it could be lots of things but its not that easy to help when we dont know where you live ,ie there could be work in your area or even n3

        Im in Glasgow sorry should have said,i have downloaded the codes and put them in i am now doing a power scan i think but there is something happening with loads of numbers so fingers crossed.

          And just to add i really dont know anything about this stuff it was a digiview repair mn i got in that told me about this site etc..i used to just to onto my pc and go to bigmaq and all codes were updated already to put it..so this is all new to me so thanks for any assistance i appreciate it as my kids go mad when they dont have their channels

            all the numbers are the tp's (frequencys) the channels will come next if you have any more problems come back

              Sorry, forgot to mention I'm from Leicester.

              When doing a powerscan, throughout the whole process, the TP stays at "TP : 000", no channels come up whatsoever?

              Any help appreciated.

                  Just finished a Deep Scan once again, got a screen which shows the following:
                  CH NUM - FREQUENCY - SYMBOL RATE - MODULATOR

                  Channel numbers going from 0001 to 34
                  Frequencys vary from 291.000MHz to 755.000MHz
                  Symbol rate all 6.887

                    looking back at your post you say you switched your box on , have you had it long ? did you flash it with the latest firmware? if you have done a factory reset you will have to go to menu and on language settings press ok then type 1968 and enable the last 2 options, please note that if you have'nt flashed your box you wont have this option

                      i still dont have the channels i dont know what flash the box is,tried the scan thing and also making sure the frequency is 6887 start rate 155 and end rate 755...still no channels though arghhhh

                        since this last sunday the box jus says CURRENTLY NO CHANNELS AVAILABLE am in the the bordesley green area of birmingham b9

                          Firstly,if you do not have a subscription to a cable company then that might be the reason you are having signal problems and not finding any channels ...that feed coming into your house needs to be in tip top condition and it might well not be if you are not with a cable company ...nuff sed on that ...

                          You need to reset to factory conditions and you must delete all data before you do a deep scan,and this should then get your channels back again,always providing the box worked ok beforehand ....

                            still couldnt get box to work so digiview guy came and took box to flash it whatever that is see told you i was new to all this stuff,lets hope it works.
