    has anyone cracked it yet????

its more like has it come to watford yet

lets put this in simple terms

N3 has not been cracked on sat for number of years now... What makes you think someone will crack it on cable

So when Its not been cracked... what I mean by is that is not publicly available... As in the keys just aint available... N1 is cracked
    N2 is cracked

    N3 No chance.

NDS has not been cracked sinse day 1

There is only one way to bypass n3 and thats via something else which am not allowed to talk about on here.

you will be waiting very very very long long time before this even happens.

in ireland its been rolled out for the past 12 months.

Yep . Cracked and hitting Watford any day soon.

        THE TRUTH
        The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

            you mis understanding the point

N3 has not been cracked and people fear it because there free TV days is no longer going to be there

C/S is the only way forward and that my friend u will need to google it. And its not free + requires a subscription.

N3 is an Encryption... A bit like having an Open wifi... and to stop people accessing that Wifi you encrypt it so that there is no outside access.

Well N3 is the same but this time its to do with the Stream itself

here is a paragraph from wiki:

Four versions of Nagravision are in common use for digital satellite television, known as Nagravision, Nagravision Cardmagedon, Nagravision Aladin and Nagravision Merlin. Nagravision Cardmagedon and Aladin are often confused with each other and used under the term "Nagravision 2" which technically does not exist. Nagravision Cardmagedon is however, a complicated combination of Nagravision Aladin and Mediaguard SECA 2 encryption. Nagravision Merlin is also known as Nagravision 3.

The decryption unit is either integrated into a receiver, available as a conditional access module (CAM), or as one of many encryption schemes supported on a CAM emulator.

            hope this helps

You will lose channels bit by bit until they are all gone and as a result of Watford going to N3 other areas listed below are also affected due to being connected from the same head end.

                      - Aylesbury
                      - Chesham
                      - Chiltern Hills
                      - Rickmansworth
                      - St Albans

Virgin Media has started to send out new smartcards to its TV customers, currently we're sending them to customers in Watford, Seven Kings, Kirklees, Wessex-Poole and Ashford. The new smartcard is easy to swap with the old - find out how at Switching your Smart Card.

The new smartcard is important. It works differently to the old card, and uses newer technology which will form part of a range of exciting new digital TV services from 2010 and onwards, including more HD channels, new TV on demand features and of course we’re also working on integrating TiVo into our TV service too!

Customers in the Watford, Seven Kings, Kirklees, Wessex-Poole and Ashford should have already received their new cards (or will be recieving them soon) and it’s important your old card is swapped out as soon as possible. Over the next few days, in the regions listed, we’ll be turning off some of the older TV signals on our network so if you haven’t swapped the card yet, please do so as soon as you can to ensure an uninterrupted service.

If you are in the Watford, Seven Kings, Kirklees, Wessex-Poole or Ashford areas and think you need a new smartcard please head to Switching your Smart Card and check our frequently asked questions (FAQ).

If you’re not in one of the regions listed, don’t panic, everyone will be getting a new smartcard. We’ll be going around the country region by region as we upgrade our TV service, and we’ll be in touch by post when it’s your turn. In the meantime, don’t worry there won’t be any changes to your TV service until that time.
