No Channels in Edinburgh (ex5100)

Hi all,

Im in Edinburgh using a ex5100 and as of yesterday no channels. Factory reset and deep scan still no channels. Also tried puttin the vermin media box back on and that isnt working either.

Can anyone shed some light for me? Have I been rumbled?

does the vm box belong to you or do you pay vm for it if not you may have been cut off

thay must be working in your area keep your vm box on then you will know when it comes back on then rescan your eurovox

hi m8 im trying to set up a eurovox ex1100 in the falkirk area connecting to virgin what software do i need to flash on to it and whats the baud rate etc im totally clueless m8 cheers if you can help

No Channels in Edinburgh

I am in the Edinburgh Area to and have also had no channels since yesterday.

Edinburgh moved all transponders Yesterday.
I have dm500 and all is running fine as of 4pm last night.

All the work has been done.

Factory reset your boxes. And scan again. Failing that flash from scratch and try again.

cheers xj42. After speaking to about 5 or 6 people from all different parts of edinburgh it seems everyone they know is having the same problem

its the symbol rate 6952 or 6887

you ned to know which area you are in before virgin took over ie ntl, telewest or cable and wireless so you can workout the symble rate for where you are. Edinburgh is 6952
