    Newbie asking for advice

Hi all. As its my first post, i hope i don't irritate anyone, as those of you out there my have read many repetitive questions on so many topics, that you'll find mine is just another. But here it goes:

I know a few people with certain cable boxes and they're entirely happy with them, when i searched the internet, i noticed that there was a cable box from eurovox that was capable of HD...the eurovox 7000 i think. Do those of out there in the know how think that this box is worth getting as a first box or should i start with something more simple?

Looking forward to any response. and thank you.

the eurovox is a good box for hd .but you cannot get any movies or sports channel in hd and with n3 on its way dont watse your money even if sellar say it will work when n3 comes out it will not work and you would have wasted your money

      Hi there

I would not buy any Eurovox or Starview as Vm have just releasing a 3rd generation scrabling which will render all boxes useless in the coming months. I bought one just last week and am regretting it.

Do not buy one, I wish someone had told me!

You can use boxes with lan, like starview 6, but this uses the net and your IP address is traceable so I wouldn't.

      Hope that was helpfull.

      Click thanks if it was.

Simond20. Thank you for your message. How certain are you that this change is going to take place and do you know of any other hardware on the horizon that may be taking their place?
