hi I'm tony can i flash euro vox 2 with ev max f/w

the thing is i have a euro vox 2 and my remote broke i cant get any remote to work it and the sensor on box seems fine i got a e/v max remote and wondered if i put the firmware from max onto ev2 will the remote work help meeeeeee plz

Hi and welcome to DK
although I have no experience with this I'm pretty sure an EV2 can be flashed with the max blue firmware and then the max remote will work on it

i had heard about people bricking the box when wrong firmware was used didn't want to do that but its not working anyway and its stuck on fav list entertainment and half channels lost so i cant just change channel from box i'll give it a try cheers

ok tried it the remote works but now every channel says please wait code being updated and its been like that for a while now any ideas

what firmware did you flash the box with

Turn emu on for code updates.

you may have to enable the emm press menu and on lanuguage settings press ok then type 1968 and enable the emulation
