    All fine now PEAA

upload the latest 5100 firmware yesterday and all good, got loads of channels but tonight I realised I did not have espn so I thought I would do a deep scan, well it crashed when it got to about 6/770 the only way out was a cold boot,
Tried again same thing, then followed the scan sticky again just to do a power scan, but alas the same results.

    Any ideas

    Thanks

try a factory reset and then a deep scan. ensure you remove any splitters from your system so thats its just the main cable feed going into the box thats performing the deep scan.

Thanks johnboy, I re-flashed it and it has gone all Ok even got espn.
Hey Flickster its the jan16 09 one and if it cant see your box it will be a serial port issue on you pc, you will need to check what port it is first if you are having issues
