Which Hard drive for the 5000

    Hi,
I purchased a EX 5000, but without a hard drive.
Can anyone tell me which make of Hard Drive I should purchase and which ones I should avoid. If anyone knows, could you also recommend where to purchase from (at the best price).

    Cheers,

I read that it won't read anything larger than 160GB so you might want to look into it more to confirm. Don't want you wasting your money on somethiing big that's not going to work.

Western Digital or Seagate momentus IDE are the two recommended by the manufacturer. 120 GB is the max. The likes of Fujitsu or Hitachi dont fit unless you cut back the plastic protection cover at the start and end of the pins.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas Adams

Not sure if this has the correct interface but I stand to be corrected.

This one has the correct interface.
