Eurovox Max - Says insert smart card

    hello

My Black Eurovox is displaying the Insert smart card option. I downloaded latest firmware last year and this message appeared today. i am in poole. Also I read the forum and went to menu, language and typed 1968, but then got stuck as it was full of lists of providers and numbers - help!

Im guessing this is the end of my eurovox....if there is likely to be no fix. Its funny I recieved a new card a few weeks ago and thought nothing of it.

      Then today.....insert smart card.....

Is this it....will buying a new box be the solution...or am I gonna have to pay to have all channels from now?

You could try sharing your genuine card with one of the Linux based cable boxes, such as the Dreambox or Technosat.

end of the road for your box, but if you can stick a dish up and get a sat box, theres plenty to be had, just google cccam, card sharing on sat is the way, but cant be talked about on here.
