    On remote...menu.....config...clear data...reset to factory..choose 6952 or 6887 ..then powerscan..no splitters on when scanning.

Did you update your channels after powerscan. You dont say what model it is and if you have it flashed with the latest firmware?

have you put the max v newest software onto it. if not you will need a null modem cable and opload it and then clear all channels and factory reset and then do your powerscan between 290 and 403 and then turn onto sky sports1 and it shud unscramble after a few mins...

That powerscan setting is an old one for N** Dublin, (latest is to 419.000Mhz), and not London. Use the 18/04/08 Max V firmware. You will find this and a comprehensive guide in downloads.
