hello im new to this, so sorry in advance my ex5000pvr scrambled last week and was wondering if anybody could help.
read the rules and i had to post before downloading if thats what i have to do. hope im doing this right

sorry i should have mentioned this box was bought with all the channels, which have now been scramble, this will be the first time i have tried to update it, i have read bits and pieces, i know the right cable to get, null modem, could someone please let me know what happens after this, is it just a firmware download that i need?

Hi m8, basically you download firmware, connect up box, install firmware and do a scan for channels.
Take a little time and read the red stickys here>Eurovox as it explains everything you need to know.
