i finally managed to flash my eurovox ex5100 with da help of my college computers! 
i just used da null modem cable and it flashed it n 1 minute.
i tried 2 flash it before on my vista pc with da null modem and da USB cable but no luck. da college pc's are all windows xp's so dats gd.
vista has alot of problems not 2 mention da trouble with detecting USB drives etc...
XP is better and more 4 da advance users i guess.
ive had experince on both pc's before as i used 2 have windows xp.
looks like i didnt need 2 buy a serial PCI card nor a PCMCIA to RS232 serial I/O Card to flash lool.
