HELP Eurovox Max not picking remote signal

Hello folks, The remote control for my Eurovox Max has stopped communicating with my box. I have tested the remote on my friends box and is working fine. I have also tested my friends remote on my box to no avail. any help greatly appreciated. Thanx:
