Hi m8, welcome to DK.
The box is very easy to update with a null modem cable and you should be able to do it within 10 minutes.
The software you require is available for free in the downloads section and the red stickeys explain how to.

This box MAY be a clone as this model has not been officially made for a while now.

But why buy a cable now?

Would it be a clone from there? And are clones no good then?

And i've heard of this Nagra 3 thingy, does it mean that i won't be able to use the box at all? Or that i'll have to update codes al the time?

it means every make of cable box will have a blank screen and you will be left with a paper weight.only providers box will work as they have their card.
