Red button function??

Eurovox EX1000SL remote has the four buttons (red,green,yellow blue), when i press the red button for input ie: interaction, all that happens is a language bar appears saying English and i have to press ok to confirm and get rid of this language option. What i would like to know is how i can get the red button to perform a red buttons duty (if you know what i mean!!). Also the other three coloured buttons seem to have no function at all outside of the boxes own internal menus.

There is no facility on the Eurovox to provide the interactive service. The red button, with version 1.1 software will only provide the Audio channel selection.
