I agree mate, it was good for a while, but what goes up must come down eventually. The only sensible reason for a complete switch (from either side to the other) is because you prefer the service you get from the other provider to your current one, the channel line up, the convenience of having everything in one package etc etc.
HD is a big swinger for me, but i am still not sure if a jump ship attitude is the right one for me, and HD might just be a phase i am going through (iv'e not long had my new TV )

just uped my subscription today the guy from virgin told me the new cards will come into force in a few weeks. i live in shipley.

I do subscribe,, 50 quiod in mobiles 35 quid in tv internet phone, i think thats plenty, my choice, , and i refuse to pay V M any more to watch their adverts,,
IF and a big IF it comes this way, there will be a tv box with modem on my door step waiting for vermin to pick it up,

so let me get this straight, you were happy to pay 85 quid all in for mobile, tv, phone, internet but now because VM have moved to a new encryption, and your dodgy box will not work anymore, you decide to cancal that all, yes you have every right to do this, however I still find your reasoning for cancelling childish.

i see it like this folks maybe its time to give vm something back albeit only for a short time. after all we have all been milking them for the past 3 years and in the course of events saved ourselves hundreds of pounds. their broadband is excellent and ive never had any problems with their tv service either.

hi everybody i am a new member and after looking on various sites i have came to the conclusion that we have all had a good time of free channels over the years and i personally will stay with cable and subscribe to the basic package of tv/phone/broadband until and if we can win again .
