Eurovox History by end of May

I have heard from a couple of sources that all digital satellite receivers (Eurovox, Dreambox etc) will become redundant by end of May. Is there any truth in this. I and my friends have already lost some channels such as ESPN and cannot recover them.

I heard it ain't even N3 as it's too costly too roll out, virgin like too cut corners when it come too cost and there just changing settings which hopefully the brains will cop onto and the whole n3 is a scare rumor, which ain't a bad idea for a company too throw out there too stop people from buying bent box's...ain't really feeling this whole N3 thing, too much chat from randoms but nothing concrete...who are these people?? ain't had much in the way of cable problems, well nothing that a rescan don't sort out and ain't heard shit from virgin about new cards...april was supposed too be the cut off date...we'll see....

yes i was thinking like this too i mean if vm only had to issue a new card to everyone then why has it taken them 3 years to do it and effectively cut off the eurovoxes. you would have thought new hardware and software would have been required.

VM are rolling out Nagra 3 - about 80% of areas already migrated and the rest be done within 2 months.
