eurovox v/s chipped virgin boxes

hi guys while i know the end is nigh for my eurovoxs my friend overthe road has a chipped virgin box which he has his card updated now and again ,i mentioned to him of the black cloud looming and hes asked the chap who does the boxes and has said theres nowt to worry about as it wont affect them ,so am i right that his box will still be ok once mines dead .many thanks in advance

its coming to the end of the road..my next-doar neighbour works for vm..sound guy he knows the score..theres no way round it..even all the guyz on chipped broad-band are in 4 a shock soon.....every-body as had a good run for there money..but its like every-think good comes to a end...
