HARD DRIVE HELP

when i put my hard drive in my eurovox ex5100 pvr it beeps a few times but doesn't work. can anyone tell me why?

Check connection and also check if the hard drive spins up.
You should be able to hear the motor on spin up. If it spins up and comes ready does it make any clonking noises?
you may need to prepare it format it please check the documention for your unit.

make sure you have pushed it right home use both your thumbs and push hard
