Need help with firmware

Hey i need to update both my boxes , was wondering if i can get the right link for the latest firmwares. i have ex5000pvr and those old normal boxes called Euro-vox max the grey ones if i am right .hope i can get the right link for both boxes as i need to update them.

i am stuck on how to update the firmware for example 3. On your PC/Laptop Run the UFL Eurovox program which you have downloaded above. the firmware i downloaded is just a paper file so i cannot run it...does anyone know what i need to do? also i installed the usb adapter drivers and im pretty sure everything has been connected right.

please help.

the unified loader, once extracted from the rar file, is a .exe file which means it is windows executable, ie will run on your pc. If your com ports are correctly configured, the UF loader will transfer the self-contained firmware to your box

Hi m8, when that message comes switch power to box OFF and then ON.
or try and run the firmware with the box on STANDBY.

Did that it's on standby...but nothing happens still shows the same message, im wondering if this pc which is in terrible condition could be the reason...maybe wait for my speedy laptop which has gone for repair!

it has to be the config of your com ports. You may need to go into device manager to amend the configuration

Downloaded the firmware for ex5000, though i did deep scan on symbol rate 6887 and it did scan the channels but all says scrambled...and when it does update channels i dunno why it has to scan like 68 channels? should it not be like 38? i am from Luton and i suppose my SR is 6887 as 6952 does not scan a thing .or i suppose even a firmware update will not help as N3 has taken lace here?
