Eurovox ex5000 PVR com port

I have a Eurovox ex5000 PVR and have downloaded the latest firmware 1.1 and although there might be a bit of a simple work around i have the following problem.
1.box connected to pc
2.Firmware opened
The problem is after pressing download I hit an error

UFL_ex5000_v1.1...no comport available

Have I just missed something simple.

Latest firmware is 1.1A. You need to set up your Comm Port in device manager. Are you using a null modem cable and USB adapter?
