hi satsmo ive done as u ave saisdin the anove post ive changed tha cap and plugged my box back in, its still stuck instandby mode with these 2 ( : ) digits on the screen. ave u any other ideas on wot i can do.

My apologies but every box I have seen with your symptoms have been indicative of cap failure. If you replaced the cap and in the right polarity, then its Del's Jtag route as the next course of action. And as he has said Mash at TMC does them.

i,v got a eurovox red it shows signs of life when plug in to mains for just a breif moment the digits light up around the edge of the numbers in a clockwise manner but it wont stay on i,v tried the reset button again when this is pressed the same lights happen it was working fine before i flashed it 2 days ago can anybody help

first you should open the box and on the power supply circuit board look for c14 i think it is written on the circuit board.if the top of that capicitor is not flat and is raised it needs replacing.you can buy an replacement from maplins.if it is flat then jtag it.you can get 1 from tailormade circuits.attaching a guide and software let me know which box it is i will upload file for it
