VM Scrambled channels

Hi All,
I guess i wont be the only one to have this problem. Since last 2 days all good channels on VM have scrambled and on trying to go back to factory setting and flashing the box again, I am still not able to get them back. Is there something i can do differently ? Is there an update in Firmware for EV5100pvr?

Another option i have is connecting the EV to Sky box that I've bought from a friend. The sky box is connected to a dish though. Is it possible to connect the o/p of Sky box to i/p of EV and does it work ?

try a deep scan, you should get most back plus a few extras but you may not get all back on the first go so i had to deep scan again...pretty much got all back.....looks like the end is in site though.....great while it lasted....will have to get the bloody ariel fixed now!!

i hope this is not true, only had my ex5100 pver about 3 month, i have the same problem "Nirav" except mine have been down about a week, what firmware have you got incidently, the 16-01-09 one ?

has sky sports 4 gone missing, it was there the other day but some channels went blank i re scaned the box and now found that 1 has gone

all my channels appear, including sky sports 4, they just say scrambelled channel, do another scan, i've found that sometimes channels that do not appear somehow are picked up in another scan

I have the same problem. All channels scrambled. can't get them back. I have an EX1000 SL.

Any ideas anybody?

here in Dundee lost all ch on ex5100 since V1rg1n issued new cards last week rescanned still nothing

I'm in dundee and have lost a few sky movie channels & discovery channels, still have sky sports though.

I've reset and deep scanned and still get scrambled channels. So I reckon channels in dundee are slowly being Nagra'd.

I'm also using an EX 5100 pvr

i am also in Dundee and have lost all movie channels bar SKY PREMIER.Only sports channels i get is SKYSPORTS 1,2 and 4.Channels are dropping off daily .. Thank god its the end of the Fitba Season

hi can some please tell me what is going on with the eurovox? some channels are not working the movies have gone off and also other premium channels, please can some one let me know if there is a solution to the problem, your help would be very much appreciated,

well it was good while it lasted still got a few channels left, think there days are numbered aswell, no amount of scanning will bring them, back but in time a new path will appear :-)
