i am new the forum. got a eurovoxpvr 5000. some channels are saying please wait code is being updates and its waiting for hours...i too have the same problem

Hi there , im also in Manchester.Got up this morning and loads of channels are not working (sky sports,etc).It seems that N3 as arrived and were screwed for now.I have flashed my box (ex5000 pvr) with the latest firmware and still no joy.Any help would be greatly received.

there is nothing you can do to stop it all you will have left is channels 1-5, the days of free tv are over for now.

Hhhmmm strange ,i scanned my EX5000 pvr again and i have got sky sports 1 back but still missing lots of other channels.I watched the community shield match(yeah MUFC won ).After the match i rescanned my box and now i have no channels whatsoever.Surely if N3 as been released in my area i wouldnt have been able to get sky sports 1 back.Any ideas anyone because this just doesnt make any sense.

The areas in the process of changeover will still use simulcrypt, so if there is a problem they can switch back from the N3 stream to N1.

It is a temporary measure until issues are ironed out and then eventually the N1 stream is turned off completely.

they dont all suddenly go ,you might lose movies and asian channels first,then a few more,they go over a 3 week period.

can anyone help me - i have a technomate 5200 and the majority of the channels have all gone off - is there anything i can do to get the football back on for the beggining of the season. i believe the dish was pointing at THOR and i have been told this is no more ???? any help would be much appreciated - im in the Manchester are and would be willing to pay for any help if i need to amend my stuff

Yeh, GMB's link. Quite funny really and went away after a reboot. Worried me for a while though, thought I'd have to read Rick Astley lyrics for the rest of my life - would've been a short life!
