eurovox 1100 idiots question

Hi,

I am now gonna sound completely stupid, but here goes anyway...............
I have just been GIVEN a eurovox 1100 and im just tryin to set it up, ive only got as far as unplugging the cable box and was gonna plug in the cable aerial but the aerial connection on the eurovox is a standard co-ax aerial input and the cable box is a cable input end, am i missing something or can i not connect the cable lead to this box??

yes you need a adaptor to go from RF-COAX to fit the box ?2,99 in maplin.
can i ask what area you are in as if you are in a nag3 area you will be wasting you time trying to set this unit up . i hope this helps
