my eurovox ex 1100 usb has started to loose channels, would the new firmware upgrade resolve that?

I have a ex1100 and last night in the swindon area it died completely hasnt worked since.
It showed since of some of my channels going off before hand and getting crackle but now they are all gone but its still loading epg.
Is swindon nag3? and what do you mean "the box is near the end" is that eurovoxs in general or what? quite scary statementComment

once you get a new card you are on countdown to being up the river without a paddle. no matter which box you have. just prey like the rest of us. as for a bad picture try pressing your info button on your remote twice & it will come up with your signal level & quality i guess you want over 80% at least that's on my 1000sl & i don't see why yours should be any different good luck

Just did some reading about it nag3 is a security "patch" from virgin to stop eurovoxs being used.
Hopefully it is just a patch and will be unpatched quickly
We havent bin informed or receiving a card or anything though so thats weird.
Some people have reported (and i quote so dont shoot me if this is wrong
)
you lose some channels (mtv or sports something important(ironically))
then you hit the darkness! (nothingness)
Then you can re scan(should be alright)

the patch from virgin will possibly never be cracked,but there are boxes working on c/s servers ( cant discuss that here ) your card will come thats for sureComment
