if you are going to buy a cable box, then you would be better off going for the kryptview 750. At least when N3 comes to your area, there is a workaround available

why are some members on here talking about workarounds for nag3. we all know its high risk and a good chance of getting caught via isp. we should all be discouraging folks from taking this line until a viable alternative is found, thats if one is ever found.

its dissapointing for us all but we had a good run at it so just accept its over and dont be doing anything risky.

the workaround is there, and up and running as many members will testify. It is risky since its based on c/s and the owners of the hosting servers could pull the plug at any time. The risk against the isp is minimal as i believe the transmitted data is encrypted and negligible in size

can you reveal your source that this data is encrypted and negligible in size or is this just hearsay.

i used to deal a bit with eurovoxes and spoke to my old supplier about the kryptviews and the use of a ethernet to serial converter, ie iconnector, 1 of my queries was using the kryptview on the internet when my isp is VM, and that was his response

he is primarily a seller of satellite systems and only supplied the cable boxes as a favour to me - he could get the boxes cheaper than i could. In return, I would instal a few satellite systems for him if he was overbooked. He has no financial motive to feed me bulls--t in order to gain a sale. I have, and always will, trust the information he gives me
