hi all i have the ex5100 pvr am still running original fw 1.0 which was on the box have now lost all channels sometimes when i scan i get some bk but not all what firmware do i need to upgrade to and how do i do it, sorry if am repeating am new to this cheers

You may now have the new encryption NAG3?

if we do hav nag3 now is it even worth upgradin the fw

as far as I'm aware Birmingham is still OK but if nagra 3 hits your area there is no fix it will be the end of the line.

im in middlesbrough have lost all channels from the box super usb. I have reset and reinstalled and set key but to no luck, have got v1.12 installed worked excellent from february till now. any help appreciated.

Middlesbrough has gone to nagra 3
its the end of the line and there is no fix, your box is now useless in nagra 3 areas.

no, you need a null modem cable

there are boxes that will work using card sharing methods (against forum rules to discuss it here)
you will need to pay for it and its done by streaming from the internet.
not something I'm interested in at present time,
