NEED HELP FINDING FIRMWARE UPDATE FOR EUROVOX MAX V 2007 PLEASE.......

i have a eurovox max 2007, it just went dead no display nothing at all, does it require repairing, or is it fried, do i buy a new one. was told firmware might sort it out, where do i get that from.

Check the C14 cap on the PSU, if its buldging or leaking replace it it could also need jtag but try the cap first.

Aslso you could try the firmware which is here,

C14 cap is on the Power supply unit to the left hand side when taking the lid off with the front of the box facing you,



Just to add if the firmware doesn't work and you decide to replace the cap the rating of the new cap should be 1000uf 16v.

Thanks for the pict of the c14, i have tried downloading the firmware but it cannot find receiver, it seems i may have to change the cap.

hiya all,
as previously discussed i was told change C14 Cap, did tried to download firmware, no good still no display showing, and when firmware is ready for download, upon hitting button messege comes up awaiting response from receiver. is my only resort now to Get some one to jtag the unit or get new one. have been told "The box" is good?

hi, i updated a eurovox max (blue) box 2 days ago and it worked ok....

the problem is that the box has just frozen. it does not respond via the remote or from the box itself. all it displays is a blue screen on channel 001 and nothing else. wont change channels or volume. the only thing the box responds to is the on/off switch on the box and remote...

i have re-installed the software but same problem.. could anyone help me with this please.....
