Eurovox TX Beginner

Absolute beginner here.
Just receiver Eurovox TX - hooked up, auto scanned
Only 1 or 2 channels appear - the rest bad or scrambled!

Anybody got a step by step guide?

You need to flash it, use the loader and firmware here Digital Kaos - Downloads - Eurovox TX Firmware & Loader Updated .

Done that, seemed successful.

Went to auto scan and 0 channels appeared

Any ideas?????

Turn the box off and back on, then scan again. What does it say in system info? I presume you are in a Ch**us MMDS area.

This may seem like a stupid question - but our ch**us subscription was cancelled but all equipment is still in place - will eurovox pick up anything if thats the case?

It will if you have the aerial, downconvertor and power inserter. Where in Ireland are you located roughly?

Try a factory reset and scan again.

Yep all equipment still intact

In Blarney area.

It picked up RTE1, Setanta Ireland and a few others before I flashed it

0 channels appeared agaib so tried EV_TX_CHLD_FIX_Rev03
Reflashed again, still no channels

Reset to factory settings and still 0 Channels

Must be something simple, I bet!

Something simple - hadnt the arial cable powered up properly
