Eurovox 1100 USB scrambled channels

Hi,

Currently running the download from late December 2009 but the movie channels are now scrammbled but sports are ok.
wiped the box, reloaded the software and completed deep scan ... still the same.
Living in Newcastle, Virgin Media .... any ideas or latest updates?

I think your area has been hit nagra 3 and there is no fix for this.

i would have thought all the channels would have gone off at the same time if it was Nagra 3?

As what i,ve been reading from other posts,You loose a few channels at a time and not all at once.

im from whitley bay and just bought the box of my mate last week, as of last night i lost like mtv channels, espn and movies and that. ive still got sky sports, does this nag 3 mean theres noway of getting them back?

There is no fix for nagra 3 I'm afraid mate.

ahh gutted, i know youve probably repeated all this stuff ages ago and im sorry for asking again.. but, does that mean like over time the box is gonna be useless and im gonna lose all the skysports aswell or will some of them be ok? and also i thought they just update the firmware and stuff? and as you can tell im very new to all this! sorry again.

What I've been reading from other posts is that over a period of 2 weeks or so you will loose all channels except channels 1 to 5
No firmware update will fix the nagra 3 encryption making all non subscribed boxes useless.

working on a fix as we talk not to throw away boxes ..a fix will take time but we will get 1

Unfortunately, absolute garbage.

As has been stated about a million times, Nagra 3 has been in use in America and certain parts of europe for YEARS, and still, there is no sniff of a crack for the protection routines.
Do some digging as to how the nagra 3 encryption actually works and you will soon see how wildly it differs from the weak encryption NTL/Telewest/Chorus used, and exactly why it will (unfortunately) never be cracked.

I live in Manchester, on mine all the channels have gone off except the free ones, all what it says is "scrambled" and I was using the December 2009 as yours mate. too bad

hope hes not your best mate.hold on to your box for a while anyway.nag 3 probably wont be cracked but stranger things have happened
