Firmware deletion of eurovox's?

Is there anyway to erase the firmware on Eurovox? I want to sell it on ebay before it is worth ?30.

Is there anyway to do this?

or atleast a link to some non 'dodgy' firmware I guess would also be great

why would you want too do that, the Eurovox and all these cable box's is made for what it does, pick up cable stations and that's what you'll get your money back for, without the firmware its just a door stop and you won't even get ?30. whoever buys it on ebay will want the firmware on it, the same way as i bought mine..just factory reset

Dont know what box model youve got but you will need to put the FTA firmware back on, look here>http://www.4shared.com/badapple link. you may find FTA firmware for your box model.

Doing a factory reset will only deleate channel data and not the firmware.

pity the coont who buys it, even with fta firmaware on it will only get 1-5 when vms finished

Hi m8, This depends on what area/town you're in.
If your are is now nag3, then NO, it will not work.
If your area is NOT gone to nag3, then it should still work.
