EUROVOX BOX/SOFTWARE

HI GUYS

I AM AFTER SOME HELP AFTER HAVING MOVED INTO A NEW HOUSE WITH A CABLE FEED MY FRIEND TRIED HIS EUROVOX BOX (RED) AND TO MY SURPRISE IT WORKED AFTER WATCHING SKY SPORTS 1 I AM GETTING A BOX!!!

MY FIRST QUESTION IS:- WHAT BOX IS THE BEST TO GO FOR??

MY SECOND QUESTION IS:- DO I JUST USE THE SOFTWARE/FIRMWARE I HAVE DOWNLOADED OF HERE TO RECIEVE THE SKY CHANNELS OR AM I BEING SILLY??

Have a read of the stickies at the top of the page regards flashing etc. If you like the Eurovox and dont require a PVR for recording, go for the Eurovox SL1000.

Have a look around there are many boxes that will suit your requirements. Can you drop the caps on your next post please. Many thanks.

sorry for the caps, i have sky+ now so pvr would be good! i have read the stickies so i guess the firmware on here is all i need

the eurovox pvr wont work like sky+ m8 it only has one tuner

you can record on it but you cant watch the other side(technically you can but the chances of recording and watching something you want are virtually minimal)

Thered i understand if you cant answer this question but would i be right to say everthing i need to watch the virgin channels is included in the firmware, once the unit is flashed and you enter the info for scanning the channels off you go?

yeh every thing for eurovox is in the firmware if you got a dreambox you would have to add things to make it work
