eurovox blue box 2006

Hi there
Ive tried downloading software on eurovox but keep getting message waiting to detect reciever.And only red standby light stays on eurovox.Is there any one who can help better still is there anyone livin in or near wolverhampton I can bring my box to.

did you turn the box on when you tried to flash it needs switching on if you havent already done so

The box with is on standby mode with red light on.It will not change from this position.

Was it flashed previously and it has gone into standby recently?

Yeah it was flashed before on somones pc and worked ok for a month
Then went on standby mode ever since cant get it to change.

Looks like the geniune one but the covers look exactly the same on the clone as on the geniune one.If it is a clone what do I have to do.

Firmware is here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...firmware-9787/ if you need to reflash it. Are there red blobs on the board screws?

Have you checked the C14 capacitor on the PSU board as this sometimes can lead to your symptoms.
