    eurovox max v clone which firmware

    i very much suspect i have a clone max v
    which firmware can i use to get it up & running?

        There is no clonesafe firmware for the Max V. What makes you suspect you have a clone?

          Are you trying to load firmware from one box to another via a null modem cable? For a box to box transfer, both boxes have to be of the same model type, e.g. Max V to Max V.

          Connect the boxes together with the null modem cable. Then on the one box go to system info in the menu, config. Type 1968 to bring up 2 hidden options, (FW or channel data), select which ever option you require and then select box-box transfer.

          Make sure you have the slave box pointed away from the remote or cover the IR sensor on it.
