help eurovox clone blue

brain now completely mashed,downloaded file for cloan blue box says download failed box stuck in standby does nothing any suggestions besides chucking in bin

1, Are you sure it is a clone and please tell me why you think it is,

2, exactly what did you download to your box,

3, You say it is stuck on standby but is their anything showing on the box display when you try to turn the box on.

i downloaded file saying how to spot difference betwen red blue and clone eurovox,when i say stuck in standby display shows --:-- and red standby light nothing happens when i press standby.i downloaded software for clone box display showed dwnld for about 1min the message says download failed,i had channel numbers before i did this but no pics any ideas
