eurovox problems

Hi all
ive currently got 2 eurovox 5000, that have started loosing channels...does anybody have any info on what maybe wrong and how i can go about fixing them
I already done the obv stuff like power scans etc, but problem still seems to be there.
Is this a case of having to redo the firmware and if so is there new firmware out there?? as the firmware that i have on my pc will be around 2 yrs old now

Have a look in the downloads section at the top of the page.(red stickys) for fimware.
But first of all,what area do you live in as it may have been hit by nagra 3.If narga 3 is in your area there is no fix for this.

im in glasgow
its an old ntl/telewest area
they have just rolled out these new cards
but im still getting some channels just not all

If you have received a new card then nagra 3 is being rolled out in your area.
You won't loose all your channels at once,You will loose a few at a time,maybe sports then movies ect.As from reading other posts,they say you may get 2 to 3 weeks before all your channels are gone.

them boxes are door stops now m8, the only way is by cardshare with the sv6 and kv A750/780 but its unreliable and risky ( google for info on c/s )

so tell me folks....you have said that they boxes are basically door stops, which as much as a pain this will be, these things happen
but tell me, is there anything on the horizon that can beat this, or is there new boxes on the market or on the way that i can get??

only the boxes ive said can get round nag3, this encryption has been in use for about 2 years and is still secure, there will be no fix for nag3, and even if there was a fix nag4 or another encryption will be waiting to take its place, virgin wont get caught out again, the days of free tv are over, you could get a motorised sat set up there are thousands of channels available.
