    eurovox on hdtv tele

    ive got eurovox 1000sl and a finlux hdtv 1080p with 6000:1 contrast ratio but wen i watch the match the players are all fuzzy on sky sports a bit better setanta crap wud a signal booster be better or wat shud i do like when im wachin say mtv dance channel its dead pixelated its doin me head in is it my box or the tv so the other week i flashed me dads dreambox 500c watched the match well better not as much fuzz let me no cheers ppl

    Sounds like a signal problem. Also have you made sure it was set to either PAL or Multi in TV settings on the box. Check all your connections. Try it from the direct feed without any splitters if you are using one.

    If your signal is weak yes a booster would help. If your signal was too strong a variable attenuator would help bring it down. Press info twice on any affected channel and post back signal level/quality.

      signal is about 85% on all wen i tried dreambox signal was 97%

        Readings are fine on both boxes. Is the problem so bad that it is very noticeable?

          I have the same problem with my tv, anything with fast motion is fuzzy especially football. May be a stupid question but i have heard of a variable attenuator but i have no idea of what the values mean. i.e. 3.7dB and 4.2dB. So does anyone know what i should be using?

            Wobble your connection ie scart lead that may help.

              Is it just while watching the Euroview box that this happens, if not it could be motion blur caused by a poor response time (measured in ms) of your TV.
