will new software/firmware help get channels back

    will new software/firmware help get channels back

    as of monday i lost nearly all of my channels except the movies. will the latest firmware help get them back beacuse at the moment i have october 2008. if so which one do i need. I Have Eurovox EX5000, in walsall area

    if your channels have recently been working OK then your firmware is probably OK (I don't know what date it displays)
    try a factory default reset and powerscan.

      i have done a factory default reset and powerscan. but still no luck. any other solutions

        you wont get any channels at the moment due to nagra 3 that has come to effect all boxes you might get the odd channels still open to view but even they will be gone

            according to the list walsall hasn't gone to nagra3 but if you know if the new cards have been issued in your area then its the end of the line
