    why is my eurovox asking for a smart card and the keys havnt been updated

    hey guys glad to of found a sensible forum as anyone any idea why my eurovox is suddenly asking for a smart card and i lost most of the channels

      Hi m8 welcome to DK.
      It looks like the start of nagra 3 in your area.
      Nagra3 is the new encryption system being rolled out all over the UK by VM, which will eventually kill off all dodgy cable boxes.

      You should have or will receive a new smart card from VM for your subbed box and then within 2/4 weeks the changeove will take place and you will loose all your channels.

      Enjoy the channels you have for now as its only a matter of time now before you see a blank screen.

          couldnt agree more with badapple to know for sure if narg 3 is taking hold in your case your channels will go in sections m8 ie- movies and some channels followed by all other channels ie-sky 1 bravo etc those seem to be t6he stages ive come across my friend scanning will find all channels but the message scrambled channel is normally dissplayed. hope this helps in your case
