    eurovox ex5000 hdd

    Have brought this box and brought hard drive, i no nothing about computors but when i try to record the picture either freezes or its just a black screen can anyone help

    Did you get the HDD with the PVR, also in your EV menu pull left to config then down to system info. What does it say in there please.

        Can you supply a link to what you bought or take the HDD out and give us the spec's in great detail

          on the hdd what do you need to no i havent a clue as to what im looking at sorry

              from a computor fair it says on the hdd Momentus 5400.3 120 gb does that help

                    Sorry I was just having a look at that hdd, that should work fine, take it out and check to see if any of the pins are bent, with it out turn the box on let run for about 1 min then turn it off, plug it back in then on again then press the record button and leave it for 2 mins, if it works press stop twice then to see the recording press the PVR button and select the recording and press ok.

                    Make sure you press the HDD in all the way as they can be quite tight.

                    BTW way what does it say in your system info?
