Newbie. Which box?

Hi, I'm new to this. Not sure which box to buy. Any ideas on which is better. Been looking at Eurovox EX6000 SD and Eurovox EX1100 USB PVR.

id give those boxes a miss,the best box to go for on cable is a krypt a780.

simply put in one word none because nagra 3 has hit most of the uk and there is no hack/update/codes for nagra 3 so dont waste ur money mate they are ways but the will probly be brought down to so save the money

Don't waste your money at the moment..hold off, get a subscription and then visit this site in a year to see if some clever person has broken Nag 3...and lived to tell the tale!

i am new to all this and i have just bought the starview 5 usb box2 but need to download the firmware for it as not sure how to do it,got a memory stick to transfer the file too.

Look here for the latest for your box model> Starview
You need to send it back for a refund if you can, as depending on your area it may already be useless.
Read up on nagra 3.
